Bhutan Hyundai Equipment introduces new construction machines

Along with the inauguration of its office, Bhutan Hyundai Equipment launched two construction machines, R210 and 140 imported from India, at Hotel Taj Tashi in Thimphu last week.

According to the General Manager (GM), Pema Lodey, the machines are designed with the comfort of the operator and the profitability of owners in mind.

“The operators can work for longer hours with comfort and ease,” he said.

All the features of the excavator from Bhutan Hyundai Equipment has been designed and assembled with the main aim to maximize torque, minimize waste of fuel and energy, and increase profitability.

The machines can save up to 5% fuel per hour.

With up to Nu 250,000 discount, Pema Lodey said that the prices for excavators are very competitive in the market.

“We are hopeful that the discounted price of the two machines will help establish us in the market.”

The GM further said that one tangible benefit would be client-friendly costs of parts as the machines are manufactured in India.

Bhutan Hyundai Equipment was awarded the distributorship in May this year. The company’s mission is to offer customers a choice of machine with superior performance, low maintenance, and analytical capability as all Hyundai SMART series are equipped with CAPO, enhanced reliability and advanced technology.

According to the GM, these features make Hyundai excavators one of the best in the heavy earthmover category.  As far as performance is concerned, Hyundai heavy earthmover is ranked one in Korea and Nepal and ranked second in India.

“Our goal is to make Hyundai equipment the number one choice of the Bhutanese customers,” said Pema Lodey.

With facilities of machine down order (MDO) which is immediate, Bhutan Hyundai Equipment is able to deliver services on time and cater to customers by offering better and timely after-sales services. It also maintains an appropriate spare parts inventory.
