The Bhutan Accreditation Council (BAC) has accredited the College of Language and Culture Studies (CLCS), the College of Natural Resources (CNR), and Royal Institute of Management on Thursday.
The BAC reportedly made a presentation to the education ministry on the major features of the three institutions – outlining institutional strengths and opportunities, and recommending areas for improvement.
Meanwhile, the BAC is an autonomous body having overall authority on accreditation, quality assurance, and interpreting and recognizing qualifications which will ensure an international level of tertiary education standards. It was established as per the clause 11 of Tertiary Education Policy of the Kingdom of Bhutan, 2010 and endorsed by LhengyeZhungtshok on January 26, 2010.
